When we have a day off, we take full advantage of it! 
Recently we had the opportunity to rent one of the Bali Beds at the Hotel Gran Meliá De Mar. The Hotel is situated directly on the Sea, and if this gorgeous pool isn't enough they even have a tiny inlet beach. It's truly the best of both worlds. 
Let's begin with the fact that this Hotel is Adults Only!!! A majority of the people here were gorgeous and I managed to actually read through a whole Wine Spectator Magazine, let's just say those articles are hefty. Now looking back at it, it was the most relaxed I had ever been and really had a chance to unplug. For some of you who know me, know that it rarely happens. Now for the icing on the cake, it's only a 15 minute drive from Palma. So if you mistakenly rented an Airbnb, or small hotel in the city this is the perfect day break. Go ahead, splurge!

There are many options when renting a bed, do you want to have a sea view? Would you like to be by the pool, or maybe you prefer to be in the Bardot Garden? The best part is none of this is advertised on their website, so any non Hotel Guest has no idea this exists. You're are probably thinking why that is such a great idea, and why I am so excited about it. It's not crowded, at all(!!) and it's an exclusive offer for those of us in the know!

So consider yourself part of the "in" crowd!

Bed Rentals are for the whole day 11:00 - 20:00. So take advantage of the Pool Restaurant, the creative menu is full of mouth-watering items. We had the soft shell crab burger & and a fresh tuna steak burger. Hand cut french fries and both burgers were heavy on the avocado! We LOVE Avocado!
