La Pepita specializes in their creative tapas, so of course we waited an hour before the kitchen opened to try their creations. As it turned out, we couldn’t leave without trying half of the menu!! We sat at the bar and the service was warm and friendly, the bartender spent some time with us telling us the history of the restaurant and it showed what they created was indeed special.

As for the food, my favorite was their take on the famed Russian salad which was heavy on the ventresca tuna - a prize in itself! But really you cannot leave with out ordering the VIC or Very Important Croquetas, which came draped with jamon Ibérico Bellota. More snacks followed and before we knew it, we felt like there was nothing more we could do to make the day any better; A perfect meal to end a long day!
