Where We EAT: Ecological & Craft Fira, Puigpunyent.

Fira Ecològica, Pagesa i Artesana
Organized by the Valpuig Association and supported by the Town Council of Puigpunyent, the fair strives to present a sample of our rural, agricultural, artesan and ecological heritage of our village in particular and the island of Mallorca in general. The purpose of this yearly fair is to demonstrate the cultural and economical possibilities available but always with a respect for nature and the with the intention of preserving our environment.

If you have not visited this beautiful village I hope that you do make it a stop on your Mallorca List. I was lucky enough to be able to live here and can say it's one of my favorites. Take a look at some of the quaint townhouses, or enjoy a coffee in the square at one of the many cafes. PLUS you are only a short 10 minute drive to Palma.  Don't forget sundowners at the Gran Hotel Son Net. http://www.sonnet.es/home

Here are a few snaps from the weekend at the Fira. Scroll down to find our favorite beer in all of Mallorca. Let's just say they have made a new beer made with local cherries! How can one not indulge in something so tasty!
