Where We EAT: Appetite Palma, Santa Catalina.

We love a good Brunch on a lazy Sunday. We remember days when we lived in NYC and the highlight of the week was gathering with friends, ordering Bloody Mary's (or Mimosa's) and towers of pancakes, and any style of benedict with perfectly poached eggs. In Palma we have had a hard time finding that style of Restaurant.... until now!

Appetite Palma is an asian fusion mash up style Restaurant. Open only during the evenings but decided that Brunch was something they wanted to showcase. The Brunch Menu is a mix of Korean rice bowls, Dim Sum and Dumplings but also includes the traditional fare. We happily ordered a Bloody Mary, eggs benedict and cafe con leche. We slowly closed our eyes as we took our first sip and instead of being transported back to NYC we found ourselves somewhere more tropical. This Bloody Mary had hints of kaffir lime, lemongrass that made it light, and stay true to the style of Appetite. Our eggs benedict tower came with 2 poached eggs, bacon and 2 very large potato rösti's smothered in hollandaise.

It's Sunday, we're meant to indulge!

Our meal with 2 cocktails, 2 coffees and 2 very large portions was 44.00Euros. We're already looking forward to the next Sunday as there is a very large menu to try!
