The power of social media, someone at this Restaurant is winning at the game, especially Instagram where high quality images will always attract costumers. This does not always translate into what you actually get when you step foot in the establishment. Ca Na Marola delivers above and beyond those mouth watering photos you see online.

Where We EAT: SHOGUN Restaurant, Palma de Mallorca.

I crave Japanese food often, and I'm not talking about sushi or sashimi which just about everyone thinks of. I love silky tofu and tonkatsu that have rich, deep developed flavors. I'm looking for umami bursts that surprise the palate.

Where We EAT: La Rosa Vermutería, Palma de Mallorca.

If you are ever stuck on where to grab a quick snack, or a creative cocktail the place to be right now in Palma is, La Rosa Vermutería. Opened less than a year ago this hot spot has the best small bites in town, paired with a well curated wine list but what you really want to come here for is the Vermut! Complete amateur hour on our behalf, although the evening was not wasted and we discovered something great.

Where We EAT: Ponderosa Beach Club, Playa de Muro.

Let's be honest, there are a lot of beaches here in Mallorca and there never seems to be enough time. This year I am finally branching out of my Top 3 Favorite Beaches and exploring the island more. To my surprise I found a lovely stretch of white sandy beach I have always thought would be "too touristy". That the food at the local Chringuito wouldn't be tasty and creative. I have no idea what took me so long, but I'm glad I have found, Ponderosa Beach.

Where We EAT: Patrón Lunares, Palma de Mallorca.

Consistency is key at this beautiful decorated Restaurant at the tail end of what I like to call Restaurant Row in Santa Catalina. As you walk down the busy Calle de la Fábrica you are hit with so many smells you are tempted to just sit down at the most crowded place thinking it's the one with the best food.
